Chapter Happenings

Chapter B is busy with finalizing plans for the upcoming summer riding schedule. To be included are more overnight trips, varied weekend rides with having our socials married to a ride on different Saturdays, and cutting back on Wednesday night rides. The riding season will begin May 2 with the Blessing of the Bikes, and conclude the first weekend in October with an overnight to Bayfield, Wisconsin. The Wednesday rides will primarily be during June through August due to the longer days of summer.
The Bike show will be in April and hopes are to include Goldwings that are older such as: 1100’s, 1200’s and of course our 1500’s and 1800’s in both trikes and two wheelers. We also have the camper that was a hit last year. Again, a good time.
Other summer activities will include our own ERC and of course the Chapter Picnic which is always enjoyable. Many of our members are planning to go to Wing Ding with the State rally being next door in Grand Rapids. It is hoped our chapter will doing more as part of that event as compared to other years. All in all, things should be fun and enjoyable. It is not too early to start planning to “get lizzie ready to ride.”
